Dear Colgate Maroon News, I would like to apologize to the bookstore for defaming their name in my article regarding the Colgate Book Exchange. My sole intention was to rally Colgate Students towards using a financial saving device. I felt I could easily draw attention to the website by highlighting the disadvantages of the book store. This was only for the purposes of garnering attention and I must say I have always been treated professionally by the staff at the bookstore. In the future, I will try to make more accurate statements by contacting the other side and will give greater focus to the advantages of the service I am supporting. Again, I want to apologize to the bookstore for quoting inaccurate numbers and in the future will try to research articles more thoroughly before writing to the Maroon News.
