A fight occurred at the Parker Commons party over Spring Party Wekeend around 2:30 a.m. that resulted in a Colgate student and recent Colgate alumnus being stabbed.

Sarah Chandler reported that although the incident is still undergoing investigation, Campus Safety Director Will Ferguson said that the victims seemed to be stabbed by two different suspects, both of which were from off-campus.

Students were notified of the incident by Campus Safety through an emergency text message alert around 4:00 a.m. There were around 300 people at the event when the stabbing occured. Campus Safety officers rushed to the scene along with an alleged 35 police officers.
