Baker’s Dozen: Caraline McDonnell
Junior psychology major Caraline McDonnell spent her summer in Frankadua, Ghana working in a fourth grade classroom at a local elementary school. She taught classes called English, Introduction to Communication and Technology, Mathematics and Science. McDonnell enjoyed how her students called her “Madame Caro” and played soccer with her after school.
“My favorite part was meeting the community members and creating relationships with students and teachers, some of which I have been able to sustain since returning home” McDonnell said.
