Since graduating from Colgate as a member of the Class of 2019, Rob Sobelsohn is pursuing his passion for law by working as a real estate project assistant for Sidley Austin LLP’s New York Office. Sobelsohn discovered his passion for law while fulfilling a requirement for his major in environmental geography. 

“Environmental Justice taught me about the need for affordable housing in areas that have large wealth disparities. I am so glad that I now get to work in a job that embetters a just housing market,” Sobelsohn said.

Sobelsohn looks forward to growing while working toward his goal for the future. “I hope to one day work as an environmental attorney, but work I have done with the corporate governance practice group has shown me there are additional ways to fight for our environment,” Sobelsohn said.
