How does your room reflect your personal style?
I think my room reflects my personal style in that it’s super cozy! My friends always say I’m a pretty chill person so I think my room definitely reflects that.
Tell me about one particular important item in your room.
My bulletin board above my desk has polaroid pictures of me and my friends from my time at Colgate. I think it’s a fun way to look back on my memories over the years.
What was your inspiration for decorating your room?
I knew I wanted to do grey and whites, but I didn’t want it to feel gloomy during the winter, so I added a comforter with dark pink/purple to brighten it up and the rest of the accents in the room followed that.
Why do you like your room?
I have a single in the townhouses, so it’s a nice escape when living with a lot of people! It’s relaxing to go home and get in bed and turn on the string Christmas lights and hang out.
What extracurricular activities are you involved in at Colgate?
I’m the interim leader of BRITE, which is a mentorship program that works with 6th and 7th grade students at Sherburne-Earlville. I’m also a member of Friends and Mentors (FAM) and Amnesty International.
