Restaurants in Review: Your Guide to Eating Downtown

Royal India Grill (RIG)

Even if you are not the typical lover of

Indian food, a little curry never killed nobody. RIG is a great option if you want to get away from pizza.

 La Iguana

La Iguana is the perfect place to go to shake off that last failed exam and bring your spirits back up. Some guacamole, nachos and maybe a small margarita will for sure do the trick.

Main Moon Restaurant

It may not be on the top of everyone’s radar, but maybe it should be. Once you get past the subpar appearance, the food is

actually pretty good. The inexpensive all-you-can-eat buffet is also a major plus.

N13

As the newest addition to the Hamilton dining options, it needs some work. N13 is continually updating its menu to attract new costumors. Once this local noodle shop finds its stride, it will surely become a

dining hotspot.

Oliveri’s Pizzeria

Their pizza may not be Slices, but their Italian food is delicious. For traditional Italian dishes like pasta and chicken, Oliveri’s can’t be beat.

No. 10 Tavern

No. 10 Tavern is a relatively new

restaurant, opening its doors last year. They offer classic food with a twist. If you are looking for a southern-food fix, go to No. 10 Tavern for some chicken and waffles. Don’t miss the chance to express your inner artist with crayon on their paper tablecloths.

New York Pizzeria (Slices)

As the only venue open till the a.m.,  for better or worse Slices will forever have a place in all of our hearts. Whether you are downtown or studying in the library, some slices will always be a celebrated option.

Colgate Inn

Tollhouse Cookie Pie. Need I say more? As one of the few upscale restaurants in town, this Family Weekend go-to is a staple in Hamilton. It may be a tad pricy for the quick weekday dinner, but if you are looking for a place to go to celebrate or bring your family, this is it.

Hamilton Eatery

The Eatery has amazing sandwiches, but nothing can compare to their delicious Mac Daddy. A heavenly combination of mac and cheese, ham and toasted bread will satisfy your cravings like nothing else. This restaurant is technically a deli, making it perfect to grab a quick meal on the go.
