On Saturday, October 1, stu­dents congregated in the Hun­tington Gymnasium for Late Gate’s “Late Skate” event from 9 p.m. until midnight. Hunting­ton Gymnasium was transformed into a roller skating rink with many in attendance. Students en­joyed free pizza, mozzerella sticks and chicken tenders.

Late ‘Gate is a Colgate orga­nization that provides students with a number of alternative weekend activities throughout the year. The group works to provide the student body with choices for different social events in Hamilton and on campus. Other previous events hosted by Late ‘Gate have included la­ser tag, open game, trivia games, study breaks, fantasy casino nights and holiday parties.
