Last Saturday, April 5, the Hindu Students Association (HSA) invited members of both the Colgate and greater Hamilton communities to participate in Holi, the festival of colors. Though this year’s spring celebration was interrupted by some snow, neither participants nor Indian food, catered by Royal India Grill, were in short supply. A large group came out to partake in the ancient Hindu festival, dousing each other in water and colored powder in order to celebrate the advent of spring and the victory of good over evil.
