How can I write for The Maroon-News?

Students from all class years are welcome to join our writing staff at any point in the academic year. Faculty, alumni and staff members are not eligible to join our staff, although they are welcome to submit letters to the editor and support us as readers. Prospective writers can email [email protected] for more information on onboarding.

Can I join editorial staff?

The editorial staff of The Maroon-News comprises section editors, media editors and senior staff who contribute to the paper on a weekly basis. Applications for editorial staff go out every spring semester, with appointments for the following academic year announced by the end of April. Applicants for editorial staff should have a minimum of one semester’s experience writing for the section they hope to edit. Senior staff applicants should have a minimum of one year’s experience on editorial staff before applying for their position of choice.
