Brief: Construction Continues on Third-Century Projects

Well into the Fall 2023 semester, construction has rapidly progressed on two Third-Century Plan projects at Colgate University.

The exterior structure of the Robert H.N. Ho Mind, Brain and Behavior Center — an expansion of Olin Hall — appears to be making progress, with stonework and windows being installed. Gold text with the name of the building is also visible from Oak Drive.

The Benton Center for Creativity and Innovation — part of the University’s Middle Campus Initiative — has seen significant progress since the summer. The steel frame of the building is now covered in a protective wrap, and construction workers are placing final touches on the roofing structure.

No specific opening date has been publicized by the University for either project.
